   I want to open a bank account. Which banks are local and what must I do?

Barclays, Lloyds, HSBC and Natwest are sited on Burgess Road.  To open an

account fill out an application form, show ID and acceptance letter from the University, you may also need to provide another form of identity e.g. passport or driving licence plus a utility bill with your name on it i.e. electricity, gas, water bill from your current address to prove that you actually live there (A tenancy contract may also be acceptable for this purpose) It may take a week to process.
