Ask SUSU

how do i find out what my national insurance number is?

A National Insurance (N.I) Number is the UK Government’s way of recording all the tax that an employee in the UK pays. It is not illegal to take employment without one, however employers will normally require you to register. Once you get a number, you keep it for life. Contact SUAIC for advice on how to apply.
