Ask SUSU

Do new students need to bring an Ethernet cable with them to be able to connect to the internet in their rooms, or are they provided?

You will not need to bring an Ethernet cable with you. one will be provided by business and community services free on charge on arrival at your hall of residence.
Southampton university is nice like that.
