   I have lost my passport and need to use it as id to get into a event in a week what can i do ?

First check at the Police Station lost property office to see if it has been handed in. If lost on campus please check to see if it has been handed in at Students' Union Reception or Admin Building Reception.

You must report that your passport has been lost as soon as possible to the passport office: http://www.passport.gov.uk/passport_lost_uk.asp

As for using it as I.D. you will have to have an alternative form, containing your name and date of birth.
