Is the Glen Beerfest still happening this year. I heard it was cancelled.?

The University of Southampton regretfully has decided that the Beer Festival planned as a joint venture between Glen Eyre JCR and Glen Eyre Halls Bar should be cancelled.  The University is not able to support an event where the primary focus is the consumption of alcohol. 

The University would like to take this opportunity to thank the Junior Common Room Committee for all their efforts in planning this and other events and to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
