Ask SUSUThis answer may contain information which is out of date. If you would like your question to have a fresh look send it to SUSU I'm still not happy with the NUS situation - What can I do? The decision not to afilliate to the NUS was taken at last years Annual General Meeting. The only way the decision can be reversed is by the process of a secret ballot (a referrendum). By law this can be called each year if over 5% of the students ask for it (around 1100). To ask for a refferendum e-mail Referendum@susu.org stating that you wish to hold a referrendum on the subject: "Should the University of Southampton Student's Union be affiliated to the NUS?" and containing your: Name Student Number Personal Tutor & Southampton University E-mail address your name will automatically be placed on the petition to hold a referendum.
