   Why were the drink prices so expensive during Mr Scruff?

The event was an externally promoted night and the Students' Union only offers reduced drinks prices when events are student only events. This is a benefit of membership to the Students' Union and is in line with agreement we made in obtaining our license.

The Students' Union doesn't actually need to "give a warning" of a price increase as such a warning would be impossible to communicate. We also think that the prices were more than reasonable when compared to any other public venue where such events take place.

The events price lists were displayed on the bar for all to see before purchasing.
